Visit the ‘Employers’ page and complete a form to add your business to our directory. Thanks to our community partners, there is no fee to participate in the employer directory for 2021.

If you spot a mistake in your business listing or profile that needs to be updated, or you have been added and wish to be removed – please “talk to us” in the form, located in the footer and share these specific details.

For the launch of the Work-Hub, we wanted to include a cross section of businesses and industries in the Shuswap region.  If your business is listed, it was likely because you represent an industry in your specific community that we wanted to highlight, or because we identified you as an employer who may hire on an ongoing basis. We used Chamber of Commerce business listings as a point of reference.

If you see your business but would like us to remove it – no problem, please just let us know.

If you don’t see your business and want to jump on board – please also let us know! Use the “Talk to Us” form in the footer of the site.

With the help of our community sponsors, our goal is to keep all advertising and basic recruitment services FREE until September 2021.

We recognize that some employers don’t have internal resources to support their hiring needs, and that some do!

In an effort to meet employers varying needs, budgets and timelines, the Work-Hub is designed to be customized.  Employers can select recruitment support services ranging from basic job postings to interview guide and onboarding support.

If you would like some help preparing a job ad and getting it posted – we can help.  If you would like help building a network of candidates, screening and sorting applicants or support with interviews, we can help with that too.

One of the goals of the Work-Hub is to help employers reduce the time spent on recruitment activities. You can slave over the preparation of your job ad, preparing a posting and then filtering through piles of unqualified candidates – or we can simplify this for you!

The Work-Hub is a local platform, developed and operated by local people – in response to the unique workforce needs of our region. We are not attempting to compete with hiring giants, such as Indeed. Instead, we are aiming to create a more positive, cost-effective (and successful) experience for local employers, and to facilitate positive connections between local businesses and our labour force. 

One of the strengths of our job board is that it integrates with Indeed and other well known job boards. So advertising with us also gives you exposure on other platforms.  

To get started, visit the Employers page and “post a job”. Once you submit this form our office will be in touch with you to complete a Terms of Service Agreement. To work with the Work-Hub, employers must agree to follow up with any referred candidates in a timely manner. If we know one thing about the current job market, it’s that good candidates don’t wait around for follow up phone calls! Our Terms of Service Agreement outlines mutual expectations to help make our work together successful.
